Terms of use
These are the rules for using Mami Mantra. They are written to be understood.
What Mami Mantra is
Mami Mantra offers words of encouragement for moms. It is not medical or mental health care, it does not give health advice, and it can’t respond in an emergency. The baby log is a notebook for your own notes, not a medical tool.
If you need to talk to someone, this page lists help lines with people who can.
Who can use it
Mami Mantra is for adults, 18 or older.
The free version and Mami Mantra Plus
- The app is free to download. Mami Mantra Plus is its paid part, and it is a subscription.
- The price and the period are shown in the app before you buy, in your country’s currency.
- The yearly plan may start with a free trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and the store makes the first charge.
- The subscription renews by itself at the end of each period, at the current price, until you cancel. To stop it renewing, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- You cancel in the store, not in the app. On iPhone: the phone’s Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play, your profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions.
- When you cancel, you keep Plus until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Charges and refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own rules. We can’t issue a refund directly.
- If Plus ends, what you wrote is still there to read.
- If the price changes, the store tells you beforehand and you can cancel.
My people
You decide whom you invite, and you can remove anyone at any time. The invitation link is the key: whoever has it can send you one note a day, so send it only to people you choose. We write the notes. The person sending one can also record themselves reading it aloud; you can turn notes with a voice off in My people, and you can tell us about a problem from that person’s screen.
If you send notes to someone, what you record is yours and your responsibility. Use it to encourage, never to hurt, threaten or pressure anyone.
What is yours
What you write and save lives on your phone. We have no copy and can’t recover it if you delete the app, change phones or lose yours. You can save a copy of everything under Backup, in Settings, and a copy of your journal from the Journal screen.
What is ours
The affirmations, the notes, the recordings, the name and the logo are ours. You may use them for yourself and share the images the app makes for sharing. You may not copy the library, sell it or use it in another product.
Fair use
Don’t use the app or the service to bother another person, and don’t try to break it, overload it or pull other people’s data out of it. We may stop serving anyone who does.
No warranties
We make the app with care, but it is offered as it is. It may fail, change or stop being available. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for harm that comes from using it or from not being able to use it. None of this takes away rights the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
Apple and Google
On iPhone, Apple’s standard license agreement also applies. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or its support; we are.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, in the United States, without taking away the protection of your own country’s laws.
Changes
If we change these terms, we’ll say so on this page and change the date. If the change is important, we’ll also say so in the app.
